It was well worth the wait ! After 30 years in operation and 5 STUDIOS throughout Sydney, the L.A. Talent School  has finally ventured online.

Liliana  Maddams, the principal of the L.A. Talent Schools, sums up the philosophy of the schools -  "The object of the schools is to give young people the opportunity to recognise and develop their talents to their full potential", and this is done by heading each school with a team of highly trained, highly professional teachers who deliver classes in singing, acting, ballet, tap, jazz.

She goes on to say - "Our motto here at L.A. is SING, DANCE, BECOME A STAR OR JUST HAVE FUN ! and as such we provide a variety of classes so that children between the ages of 3 and 18 years can do just that.

"Our specialty is our tiny tots classes", Liliana explains. This is a special programme L.A. have developed which allows 3-5 year olds to begin to improve body awareness and foster self confidence whilst providing children in this age group with the opportunity to expand all developmental areas through music and dance. "Watching these tinies clap, sing, dance and use percussion instruments is really inspiring-these are the stars of the future."

A wealth of opportunity is also provided for all children to do, for example, partake in the annual end of year concerts a variety spectacular which allows the students to consolidate their years work in a highly entertaining, thoroughly professional performance)and become a member of the L.A. Talent showgroup team(each school has a specially chosen group of students who travel to various venues throughout Sydney, performing).

"There's always a lot going on ",explains Liliana, "but we always let parents know from the very beginning, that nothing is compulsory that although we provide a great deal for our students to participate in, if they only want to come along and just do their class, that's not a problem. Whilst our classes are highly professional affairs, we want our students to enjoy our classes, to feel confident and happy whilst learning to sing, dance and act".
